FY2008 Consolidated Full Year Highlights:

Consolidated sales revenue was 2,535.9 billion yen and consolidated operating loss was 28.4 billion yen. Consolidated net loss was 71.5 billion yen, due to overseas affiliates' impairment losses and release of deferred tax assets.

Ok we, that is my wife and I, started off with her red 1992 Miata MX5, which I had always liked and wanted when they first came out. It was a nice little red car with body and paint damage everywhere. The interior had been wet from a leaking top and as a result the interior had, well, you know, a funny smell...ooooHew!, and the seats were dry, cracked, brittle and all black, but still in sound condition. The windshield was badly pitted and cracked as was the front end.

When Ford Motor Co. cut its stake in Mazda Motor Corp. to 13 percent from 33.4 percent in November, several key Ford Motor Co. executives on loan to Mazda had to make a decision: stick with Mazda or go back to Ford. One of Mazda's coups was hanging on to Ford lifer Jim O'Sullivan, who had been CEO of Mazda North American Operations since 2003.
